Senior Assistant Dean for Academic Planning and Strategy

Education: BS in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, SUNY Brockport; EdM in College Counseling and Student Personnel, University at Buffalo; PhD in Higher Education Administration, University at Buffalo

Academic Path: Since my undergraduate years, I have been committed to guiding students along their higher education journeys. As a resident advisor and career assistant, I discovered a passion that inspired me to complete a master's degree at UB and an assistantship in Student Affairs. Following graduation, I acquired valuable experience in multiple positions as a career counselor and program administrator. Upon my return to UB, I transitioned into academic advising, eventually joined SEAS, completed my doctorate, and moved into other administrative roles. It is a pleasure to work at an institution whose mission includes providing students with transformative, innovative, and research-grounded educational experiences.

Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also like to travel to my son’s track and field meets. Let’s Go Gators!
